FAQs
Common questions about working together, labs, and programs.
If you don’t see your question answered below, feel free to reach out or book a free discovery call. I’m happy to help you decide what makes the most sense for your goals.

Do you diagnose or treat medical conditions?
No. I don’t diagnose, treat, or prescribe medical conditions. My role is to interpret your bloodwork through a functional lens and help you create a nutrition and lifestyle strategy that supports your body. I’m happy to collaborate with your doctor or other healthcare providers.

Can you order labs for me?
Yes, if you don’t have recent labs, I can help you order targeted bloodwork based on your goals, health history, and budget.

Do I need recent labs to get started?
No, but they’re helpful. If you have labs from the last 3–12 months, we can often use those. If not, we’ll decide together whether new testing is appropriate and which panels make the most sense.

What is functional bloodwork analysis?
Functional bloodwork analysis looks beyond standard “in range” values and uses optimal ranges to identify patterns related to energy, digestion, inflammation, metabolism, hormones, and overall health. It helps explain why you may not feel your best—even when labs appear normal.

How do virtual sessions work?
All sessions are conducted through secure video calls. You can join from anywhere, making it easy to fit sessions into your schedule without travel.

Is this covered by insurance?
No. Services are not covered by insurance.

Do you provide meal plans?
I don’t provide rigid, one-size-fits-all meal plans. Instead, I create personalized nutrition structures with food guidance and sample meals so you can eat in a way that’s realistic, flexible, and sustainable.

Will I have to eliminate a lot of foods?
No extreme dieting. The focus is on sustainable changes that fit your lifestyle. We work with foods you enjoy and make adjustments gradually, based on your goals and lab data.

What should I expect in the first session?
In your first session, we’ll review your health history, goals, and labs, then outline your first steps so you leave with clarity and a plan.

How do I know which service is right for me?
If you’re unsure, the best place to start is a free 15-minute discovery call. We’ll talk through your goals and current situation and decide together which option is the best fit.

What is the Maintenance Subscription?
The Maintenance Subscription is for clients who want continued accountability, periodic lab reviews, and ongoing fine-tuning after completing an initial program or bloodwork review.

How soon will I see results?
Many clients notice improvements in energy, digestion, sleep, or blood sugar within 2–4 weeks. Results vary depending on individual health history, consistency, and starting point.

What if I’ve tried everything and nothing worked?
That’s very common—and you’re not alone. Functional analysis helps uncover patterns that traditional approaches often miss, allowing us to create a more targeted and personalized plan.

Still have questions?
